Fans of Harry Potter will instantly recognize Alnwick as the real Hogwarts! Set within stunning grounds and nestled in the historic market town of Alnwick, this castle is as magical as it is majestic.

CHILLINGHAM CASTLE

Do you dare enter Britain’s most haunted castle? Dating back to the twelfth century, Chillingham Castle became a fully fortified stronghold in 1344 and has been in the same family ever since.

Once a key fortress during the bloody border conflicts with Scotland, it has welcomed royalty like King Edward I (Longshanks), whose private chamber still exists — and is said to be the most haunted room in the castle.
